Territory Manager - Northwest Arkansas (Market Development)

LWI Supply

POSTED ON 6/5/2026

The Opportunity

This is not a maintenance sales role!

This is a market development role for someone who enjoys creating momentum in an underdeveloped territory and building long-term market share. Success in this position requires persistence, strategic thinking, and a willingness to make consistent prospecting, relationship-building, and demand-creation activities part of your daily routine.

The ideal candidate has experience entering new markets, opening new territories, launching products, or creating growth where little existing business was present. If you are motivated by building rather than inheriting, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

Build the Market

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory growth strategy for Northwest Arkansas
  • Identify and target high-potential dealers, contractors, builders, architects, and influencers
  • Create sales momentum in a developing market through disciplined prospecting and relationship-building
  • Establish LWI Supply as a trusted resource and recognized brand throughout the territory

Drive Demand

  • Generate pull-through demand by working directly with contractors, builders, architects, and designers
  • Influence projects from specification through installation
  • Conduct jobsite visits, joint sales calls, product demonstrations, and follow-up activities
  • Create opportunities that drive business back through our dealer partners

Grow Strategic Relationships

  • Build strong partnerships with dealer decision-makers and contractor customers
  • Become a trusted advisor by providing product knowledge, training, and responsive support
  • Develop long-term relationships that lead to repeat business and market share growth

Train & Educate

  • Lead contractor events, lunch-and-learns, dealer trainings, and product demonstrations
  • Partner with manufacturers and internal teams to deliver impactful educational programs
  • Position LWI Supply and our brands as preferred solutions in the marketplace

Manage Territory Performance

  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistent activity levels
  • Track opportunities, customer engagement, and performance through CRM tools
  • Utilize a structured sales process to ensure opportunities are moving forward
  • Regularly evaluate territory performance and adjust strategies to maximize growth

What It Takes

  • Proven success in outside B2B sales
  • Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Comfortable operating independently in a developing market
  • Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to create opportunities rather than wait for opportunities
  • Willingness to spend significant time in the field developing business
  • Ability to travel throughout Northwest Arkansas

Preferred Experience

  • Building materials, construction products, or wholesale distribution experience
  • Experience successfully developing new territories, opening markets, or launching products
  • Demonstrated ability to grow sales where little or no existing business was present
  • Experience working with dealers, contractors, builders, architects, and designers
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and disciplined pipeline management
  • Strong understanding of the residential and light commercial construction industry

What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate will:

  • Consistently create new opportunities and relationships across the territory
  • Increase contractor and builder engagement with LWI Supply products
  • Expand dealer partnerships and market penetration
  • Build a sustainable pipeline that drives long-term territory growth
  • Establish Northwest Arkansas as a significant growth market for LWI Supply

If you're energized by building a market, creating demand, and leaving a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.
