CDL A Company Driver(Dry Van)

Job Description:
LVT Trucking LLC is a family owned and operated trucking company established in 1968, built by generations of truck drivers. We are rapidly growing our team and are now hiring CDL A OTR Drivers in Sulphur Springs, TX for our dry van or step deck divisions. Drivers will have the choice between hauling dry van freight or step deck freight primarily in the south central and south east states. We have loads to accommodate your needs and desired home time.
Compensation
Average weekly pay range: $1,500 - $1,980

• • Top driver weekly pay: $2,000

• Paid all practical miles, loaded and empty
• Average of 2,500 – 3,300 miles weekly
• Drivers are paid based on tenure with our company
Starting pay – 60 CPM

• • 6 months - 61 CPM
  • 1 year - 62 CPM
  • 3 years - 63 CPM
  • 5 years - 64 CPM
  
  
Additional Pay:

• • Step Deck Load Pay - 5 CPM
  • Permitted Step Deck Load Pay - 5 CPM
  • Tarp Pay – $75 for each load
  • Layover Pay – $150 a day
  • Extra Stop Pay – $25.00 for each extra pick or drop
  • Detention Pay – $15 per hour after 2 hours (contingent upon on-time delivery)
  
  
Bonuses:

• • Quarterly safety bonus - Qualifying drivers earn 5 CPM on all miles for the quarter
  • Clean Inspection Bonus - $50 per inspection
  • Referral Bonus - $2,000 (paid as $1,000 at 90 & 180 days employed)
  
  
• Paid weekly with options for direct deposit

Home Time, Route and Schedule
Home Time: Home 34-48 hours around every 7-10 days

• • We will do our best to work with you to meet your needs and desired home time

Routes: Primarily hauling in south central & south east states

• • States include: TX, OK, AR, LA, MS, AL, GA, SC, NC, TN, KY, OH, IN, IL
  
  
• All work is year round, not seasonal

Equipment

• International LT Trucks
• Automatic & manual transmission
• Governed speed: 70 mph
• Motive platform utilized for ELD, outward facing cameras, fuel card, and dispatch system
• Amenities: Refrigerator, APU, & inverter
• Company owned fleet maintenance facility with LVT employed mechanics

Job Requirements:
Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience

• • 2 years flatbed/step deck experience required for step deck division

• No more than 4 moving violations or citations in the past 3 years
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• No DUI/DWIs or reckless driving charges in past 3 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Hiring Radius: Within 150 miles of Sulphur Springs TX but will consider interested drivers outside of radius

Wage Range: 0.55 - 0.59 per mile
