Overview: We are partnered with an ENR global top 10 general contractor seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team and lead the development of a state-of-the-art data center campus in Virginia. This role is pivotal in expanding our company's presence in the region and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the construction industry, particularly in data center projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and milestones. Ensure all activities align with project strategy and goals.
• Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead and coordinate project teams, mentor and motivate members, and foster a collaborative environment. Organize regular meetings to address concerns and provide feedback.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior stakeholders to provide strategic updates, gather feedback, and ensure all deliverables meet rigorous quality standards.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate significant risks, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
• Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively to handle new projects, including scheduling equipment maintenance and allocating staff.
• Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients, troubleshoot issues, and identify future business opportunities.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards and regulations, maintaining high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of IT Project Management experience, with a strong background in data center projects.
• Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent in project management methodology. CDCPM® (Certified Data Center Project Management) certification is highly desirable.
• Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, proficiency in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, and strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) tools.
• Technical Knowledge: Hands-on IT Operations support or management experience, working knowledge of Jira for project management.
