An established, design-focused engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its growing Colorado team. - Lead mechanical system design, from concept through construction administration
- Serve as Engineer of Record on projects, ensuring technical accuracy and code compliance
- Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and building systems design, including load calculations, equipment sizing, and specifications
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions
- Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets while maintaining high-quality deliverables
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development efforts
- Support the continuous improvement of internal standards, processes, and technical practices
- 10 years of mechanical engineering experience in the A/E/C industry
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or ability to obtain in Colorado)
- Demonstrated experience with multifamily and/or commercial building projects (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing design, energy codes, and applicable standards
- Proficiency in industry software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, load calculation and modeling tools)
- Proven ability to manage projects and work directly with clients-
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Salary : $60,000 - $160,000
