As a key member of our team, you will share responsibility with the Project Manager for the overall success of large-scale, high-rise residential projects. This role involves overseeing multiple crews, managing work sequencing, interpreting blueprints and schematics, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
We are seeking a strong leader with exceptional organizational skills and extensive experience managing crews on large commercial job sites. The ideal candidate is well-versed in high-rise installation and construction processes, blueprint reading, electrical schematics, wiring, conduit work, and workplace safety practices.
- Lead and manage multiple field crews on commercial electrical projects.
- Interpret and apply construction blueprints, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate scope, scheduling, and compliance.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, including OSHA and local codes.
- Coordinate workflow and sequencing to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Conduct owner and subcontractor walk-throughs; prepare and manage punch lists.
- Provide regular project reports, documentation, and technical support.
- Monitor jobsite cleanliness and enforce safety protocols.
- Plan and oversee installation of electrical systems.
- Control labor costs and optimize resource allocation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing field crews and operations on commercial electrical projects.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple crews simultaneously.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and contract documents.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough knowledge of workplace safety practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and communicate effectively in noisy field environments.
