Overview:
Design and implement control systems for automation projects, including hardware, software, and instrumentation. Responsibilities include PLC programming, control panel design, system checkout, and start-up support.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop control systems and schematics (AutoCAD).
Create Sequence of Operation documents; lead reviews.
Perform system checkout/start-up; deliver documentation and training.
Act as technical lead; mentor junior engineers.
Manage small projects ($50K-$250K) including planning and purchasing.
Requirements:
BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
3-5 years in controls, PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.), instrumentation design.
AutoCAD experience; strong communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Physical & Environment:
Work in industrial settings; lift/climb; frequent PC use.
