As Chief Electrical Estimator, you'll be the strategic mind behind every bid. - Lead the full estimating process for complex electrical projects-from bid review to final proposal.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope to develop complete, accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and preconstruction teams to align estimates with execution strategies.
- Mentor and coach estimators, fostering technical growth and confidence.
- Build strong vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and market insights.
- Contribute to strategic decisions on project pursuits, competitiveness, and innovation.

- 10 years of electrical estimating experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and industry standards.
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
- Proficiency in estimating software (Accubid, Trimble, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and specifications.
- Leadership skills that inspire collaboration and accountability.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- 7-10 years working with electrical systems in commercial or mission-critical construction.
- Familiarity with QAQC processes and tools (Procore, BIM 360, Smartsheet).
- Certifications such as PE (Electrical), LEED, ASPE, or CPE.
- Experience with data centers, hospitals, or advanced manufacturing projects.
- Established vendor and subcontractor relationships in the Southeast.
- Estimates delivered on time, complete, and accurate-with no surprises for clients or field teams.
- Estimators on your team grow under your leadership, taking on more responsibility confidently.

This role is based in Duluth with a hybrid schedule-onsite collaboration with project teams and remote work for focused tasks. Occasional travel in the Southeast for pre-bid meetings, site walks, and client presentations may be required.
