About You: We are looking for a Pre-Engineered Systems Technician for the installation, termination, inspection, maintenance, repair and service of pre-engineered fire suppression systems.
Compensation/Benefits: A competitive pay rate ranging from $22.50-$36.50 depending on qualifications. Essential Functions:
- Install mechanical piping and components
- Operate mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure system performance
- Plan and initiate projects
- Install and service mechanical and electronic fire systems
- Install pathways and spaces for installation of mechanical piping
- Lay out, install and verify operation of mechanical fire suppression systems
- Install, test, certify and troubleshoot fire suppression systems
- Meet installation deadlines
- Prefabricate fire systems for field installation
- Responsible for accurate tracking on time sheets, service/installation tickets and inventory items
- Comply with company's and customers' safety program
- Ability to maintain or acquire local licenses and/or required certifications
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude including the understanding and use of tools
- Understanding electronic components and circuitry
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter
- Maintain a high level of professional conduct
