Machine Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and performance of production equipment in a fast paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who is hands on, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in minimizing downtime and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to quickly resolve downtime
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Inspect machines and identify potential problems before they impact production
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records
- Collaborate with production teams to support efficient operations
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Qualifications:
- 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Lead troubleshooting efforts on complex equipment issues
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
- Mentor junior technicians and support training initiatives
- Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, and advanced electrical systems
