Job Summary
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for LV Petroleum’s corporate headquarters, representing the company with professionalism and a positive attitude. This role provides essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily office operations while contributing to a welcoming and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, vendors, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls; take accurate messages and follow up as needed.
- Manage the front desk area, maintain a clean and organized reception environment.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries (including coordination with couriers).
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, conference rooms, and company events.
- Provide administrative support to various departments (filing, data entry, scanning, copying).
- Maintain office supply inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Assist with visitor badging, parking coordination, and security protocols.
- Support HR with new hire orientation logistics and employee events.
- Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of receptionist or administrative experience, ideally in a corporate or fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the petroleum, retail, or hospitality industry is a plus.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
