Position Classification: Full-Time Administration
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Education - Master's Degree in Education, Curriculum, Educational Leadership, or related field and at least seven (7) years of relevant work experience; or Doctoral Degree with at least five (5) years of relevant work experience.
- Experience - Minimum three (3) years of experience in higher education administration; two (2) years Post-secondary teaching experience required; experience in curriculum development and faculty development preferred.

Provide strategic leadership to ensure academic excellence and continuous faculty development; Provide leadership and oversight for full-time, part-time, and adjunct faculty across all academic departments; coordinate faculty workload, scheduling, and assignments in collaboration with academic affairs; coordinate all extra-duty or overload faculty assignments in accordance with collective bargaining agreement; foster a culture of excellence in teaching, learning, assessment, and innovation; support faculty in the development, implementation, and assessment of curriculum and instructional practices; promote student-centered learning, equity-minded instruction, and inclusive pedagogical practices; provide leadership in long-term academic planning, including the development of innovative academic programs and curricula to meet student needs and workforce demands; maintain policies and practices that align with accreditation, governance, and institutional requirements; support accreditation self-studies, reports, and site visits related to academic programs and faculty; oversee faculty recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, retention, and professional development in accordance with collective bargaining agreements and institutional policies; collaborate with Human Resources department to address faculty performance concerns and participate in progressive disciplinary process in accordance with collective bargaining agreements and institutional policies as needed; promote technology-enhanced learning, online and hybrid instruction, and innovative pedagogical practices; develop, manage, and monitor instructional and developmental budgets; collaborate with academic affairs, enrollment management, and student success to improve student retention, persistence, and completion; support initiatives related to admissions, onboarding, advising, and academic support services; serve on college committees and represent Academic Affairs in campus-wide and external partnerships; other related duties as assigned.
Entry Salary: $87,295.64/ annualStandard Work Week: 35 hours
