About the Role: Be one of the founding team members of an exciting fintech startup with prominent financial backing and a world class team. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter to support the back end functionality of our luxury focused alternative asset products Needs to be detail oriented, resourceful, experienced in fund back end management and IR and a team-player.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage communications with Fund administrator, Fund accountant, Legal Team and all Auditors
- Investor Relations (quantitative, qualitative, audited financials)
- Maintain customer records, documents, and transactions in CRMs and in Fund Portal
- Manage portfolio information across subadvisors, update fund materials and coordinate with Fund SME Leads on asset pipelines
- Work with internal and external teams to process assets through the legal pipeline
- Collaborate with marketing team on building CRM mailing list
- Help the team internally to streamline and optimize processes across the platform, working alongside the product and technology teams
- Continuously reviewing operating processes and SOPs to ensure that they are efficient and effective
- Prepare financials and documentation related to any audit or compliance
- Work with partners and legal teams to quickly resolve any backend or CRM issues
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Operations or Accounting
- 5 years of work experience
- Extreme attention to detail (numbers, qualitative descriptions, photographs and processes)
- Excellent communication skills for external comms with high profile stakeholders
- Strong understanding of fund accounting and cost control principles, including US GAAP and FASB
- Detailed level of proficiency and comfort using a CRM and Excel
- Self-starter who is comfortable working in a very fast-paced startup environment
