Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Manicurist role based in Lower Macungie, PA. The Manicurist will provide manicure and pedicure services, including nail shaping, cuticle care, polish application, and nail enhancements according to client requests. Daily tasks include consulting with clients on desired styles, performing nail art and other specialized techniques, and recommending appropriate nail care products or services. The role also involves maintaining a clean and sanitized workstation, following salon health and safety standards, and ensuring tools and equipment are properly disinfected. The Manicurist will deliver friendly, professional customer service, help manage appointment flow, and collaborate with team members to support smooth salon operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Nail Care and Nails, including manicures, pedicures, nail shaping, cuticle work, and polish application.
- Experience or training in Cosmetology with a focus on nail services; relevant state license or certification as required.
- Skill in Nail Art, including basic and advanced designs, color combinations, and current trends.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen to client preferences, and build repeat clientele.
- Knowledge of sanitation, sterilization, and health and safety practices in a salon setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform detailed work with accuracy and care.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a full-time schedule, including weekends or evenings as needed.
