We are seeking a candidate to manage our fixed operation department for our Hutchinson location This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dealership or independent repair experience who enjoys mentoring staff, ensuring processes are followed, and contributing to a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Order, receive, and manage parts inventory
- Reconditioning oversight
- Coordinate and manage all sublet repairs with outside vendors and dealerships
- Monitor vehicle status and provide updates to customers and management
- Verify invoices, repair documentation, and proper billing of sublet services
- Ensure technicians are uploading proper photos and detailed diagnostic results
- Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness
- Assign work to technicians and monitor workflow
- Vehicle intake and service write-up assistance
- Provide oversight and support to service, detail, and fixed operations staff
- Help improve departmental processes and efficiency
- Assist in maintaining quality control and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automotive technician, service advisor, shop foreman, or service manager
- Management experience,
- Strong understanding of diagnostic and repair procedures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to mentor staff and hold team members accountable
- Familiarity with dealership management systems is preferred
- Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
