Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to manage and grow our event marketing efforts in the Raleigh, NC market and surrounding areas.
This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing local events and shows while leading a team of event representatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify events and shows within the assigned territory
- Negotiate contracts with event vendors and organizers
- Build and maintain an annual event calendar
- Recruit, hire, and train Event Demonstrators
- Schedule and manage staff for events
- Coordinate booth setup and teardown
- Generate and set appointments for free in-home consultations
- Collect contest entries and lead information
- Follow up on leads and schedule consultations
- Track, measure, and report event performance and results
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, outgoing, and energetic personality
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities
- Ability to coach, train, and motivate a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be available to work weekends
