Position Summary
We’re looking for a motivated and personable Leasing Specialist to take the lead on leasing for a newly developed community in its initial lease-up phase. This role is centered around attracting future residents, guiding them through the leasing journey, and helping build strong occupancy from the ground up. From first inquiry to move-in day, you’ll be the go-to person creating a smooth, welcoming experience.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the main contact for all prospective resident inquiries
- Give engaging and informative tours that showcase the community’s features and lifestyle
- Oversee the leasing process from start to finish, including applications, screenings, approvals, and lease signings
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to drive conversions and meet occupancy goals
- Keep detailed and accurate records of leads, applications, and leases
- Communicate professionally across phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Coordinate move-in logistics and ensure new residents feel welcomed from day one
- Assist with outreach efforts such as online marketing and local networking
- Work closely with on-site leadership during the lease-up phase
- Adhere to all Fair Housing guidelines and company standards

- Background in leasing, sales, or customer-facing roles is a plus
- Strong people skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Goal-driven with a natural ability to close and convert leads
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple prospects at once
- Comfortable with technology and property management tools
- Dependable, professional, and service-oriented mindset
Additional Details
- Must successfully complete a background check
- Understanding of Fair Housing practices is required
- Availability to work weekends, including Saturdays, as needed
