Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for customers regarding software-related issues of PC products, including installation, configuration, debugging, and system optimization.
- Diagnose and resolve software technical issues promptly (e.g., compatibility problems, software crashes, driver conflicts), collaborating with internal R&D, software engineering, and support teams as required.
- Create and maintain software-focused technical documentation, including troubleshooting manuals, software user guides, design specifications, and issue summary reports.
- Gather customer feedback on software performance, usability, and functionality, providing actionable insights to drive software design improvements and technical risk mitigation.
- Manage and coordinate software-related technical projects (e.g., software rollouts, customizations, upgrades), ensuring successful product adoption, design wins, and customer satisfaction.
- Guide customers on software best practices, provide training on product usage, and support smooth software integration with customers’ existing systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven work experience in a software-focused technical role (e.g., Software R&D Engineer, Software Application Engineer, Software FAE, or related positions).
- Strong technical proficiency in PC software technologies, including OS (Windows, Linux), software debugging tools, programming languages (e.g., C/C , Python, Java), and software deployment/upgrade processes.
- Excellent software problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex software-related issues independently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical software concepts clearly to customers with varying technical backgrounds.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering timely and effective software support solutions.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to document software issues and solutions systematically.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
