JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL FUNCTION
The Material Handler I is responsible for supporting the After Sales operation including inbound receipt, sortation, and management of an organized warehouse and preparing outbound shipments.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives and sort inbound packages for each department in First in First out order
- Responsible for 7s of good housekeeping
- Stocks and replenish supplies
- Finishing task in a timely manner assigned by the Leadership Team
- Responsible for recycling of discard items with the after sales department
- Prepares merchandise for shipment
- Responsible for any additional duties assigned by the NAASC Leadership Team
- Ability to train on small material handling equipment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent mathematical aptitude/numerical recognition
- Ability to interact professionally with all personnel
- Clear and efficient communication skills
- Ability to use material handling equipment: walkie riders, order pickers, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/Manager
- Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours
