What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Luxor Staffing?
Luxor Staffing is hiring Forklift Operators paying up to $22 per hour with variety of shifts available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!
*We are hiring in Columbus, Groveport, and Lockbourne*
Duties
- Execute order picking using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to ensure accurate fulfillment.
- Handle materials efficiently by stacking, organizing, and storing goods in designated areas while adhering to safety standards.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and report any maintenance needs.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by managing inventory movements and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize space utilization and improve operational workflows.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety protocols diligently during all tasks involving heavy machinery or materials handling.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with a focus on distribution or logistics operations.
- Proven ability to operate Reach Truck Operator, Cherry Picker, and/or Clamp Operator.
- Experience in shipping & receiving processes including load & unload activities.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting tasks required for materials handling.
