Responsibilities of Wound Care Nurse/ RN (WCC, WOCN):
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri.
- Complete wound treatments for residents in skilled nursing facility.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate resident condition.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Coordinate with wound care providers, oversee nursing staff wound treatments.
- Provide resident specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention.

- Some wound care experience preferred.
- Certification preferred but not required.
- Minimum Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
