- Experience as a BOM in healthcare
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, regulations, and healthcare financial processes
- Comfortable meeting with residents/families to discuss financial obligations
- Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Oversee input of census information into billing and clinical software
- Oversee gathering of documentation for Medicaid applicants
- Collect private and income monies owed to the facility
- Assist with insurance authorization process
- Oversee distribution of resident funds
- Ensure all admission agreements are signed
- Other duties as required
