We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Assistant Business Office Manager to support the daily financial and administrative operations of our Skilled Nursing Facility. This position works closely with the Business Office Manager to ensure accurate billing, collections, resident trust fund management, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing and collections
- Maintain accurate resident accounts and trust fund records
- Support month-end closing and financial reporting processes
- Communicate with residents, families, and insurance providers regarding account status
- Help ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements
- Perform general office duties and support front desk operations as needed
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software (e.g., PointClickCare or similar)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business or related field preferred
