Role Description The Salon Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at Luxo Nail Spa - Avondale in Chicago, IL. This role is responsible for greeting clients, managing check-in and check-out, and ensuring a smooth flow of appointments throughout the day. The Salon Coordinator handles phone calls, answers service inquiries, books and confirms appointments, and manages the salon’s scheduling system. Daily tasks include maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, processing payments, supporting service providers with accurate client information, and addressing client concerns promptly and professionally. The role also involves promoting services, communicating specials or promotions, and contributing to a positive, welcoming atmosphere for both clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication.
• Professional front desk capabilities, including Receptionist Duties and Appointment Scheduling.
• Polished Phone Etiquette and ability to manage high call volumes calmly and efficiently.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling or Vagaro POS systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced salon environment.
• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work weekends and peak hours as needed.
• Previous experience in a salon, spa, hospitality, or retail setting is preferred but not required.
