What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Packer/Moving pallets etc position at LUXI GROUP?
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials
- Load and unload trucks, and pallets using a forklift or pallet jack
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including OSHA regulations
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Assist with order packing as required
Experience:
- Previous experience operating a forklift or lift truck in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency in operating a pallet jack or other material handling equipment
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order picking
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the forklift or equipment
