Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing floors to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
• Handle sanitation duties such as disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to uphold health standards.
• Manage laundry responsibilities including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
• Conduct outdoor cleaning activities such as trash removal, window washing, and maintaining landscaped areas when required.
• Use manual handling techniques safely to lift heavy furniture or equipment during deep cleaning or moving tasks.
• Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and restock cleaning products as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
• Follow established safety protocols for heavy lifting and equipment operation to prevent injuries.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing specific cleaning requests and ensuring client satisfaction in residential or commercial settings.
• Support housekeeping management by adhering to schedules and completing tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with knowledge of janitorial procedures.
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely.
• Expertise in floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types.
• Familiarity with sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining hygienic spaces.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the shift.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate professionally with clients or residents.
• Experience with laundry operations and housekeeping management is a plus.
• Outdoor work experience beneficial for maintaining exterior areas or landscaping tasks.
• Knowledge of hotel or custodial services can enhance your effectiveness in diverse environments.
