Salary Range | Employer Estimate: $66,500- $69,800 base
Primary Objective:
To ensure duties of the Front Office department are met in accordance with the established standards and procedures of the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel.
Performance Expectations:
- Meet and exceed customer service levels and expectations by providing exceptional service.
- Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors at all times.
- Ability to handle difficult situations/guest complaints effectively and efficiently.
- Supervise assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and fiscal budget.
- Supervise the delivery and measurement of guest service in accordance to the established guidelines.
- Oversee accountability process for the Font Desk ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines, company policies, established guidelines/standards, and legal requirements.
- Interview, hire, train, develop, conduct performance evaluations, resolve problems, and recommend discipline and/or termination.
- Perform all Front Office duties at a high level of expertise, offering technical guidance/assistance as needed.
- Monitor employee schedules; enforcing break/lunch times, provide early-outs or overtime based on budgetary guidelines, volume, forecasts, and departmental needs.
- Monitor Front Office employee’s activities for quality assurance, evaluate performance and provide coaching/counseling when applicable.
- Maintain complete knowledge of, and comply with, all department policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor Payroll and PnL
- Keep a positive Employee Engagement environment and productivity levels
- Provide guest resolution for all issues/concerns beyond the scope of authority designated to Front Office line employees in an expedient and professional manner.
- Assist the Front Office Manager/Director of Operations with daily administrative duties as needed.
- Promote free exchange of ideas among employees in an effort to continuously improve guest service levels.
- Advise management of any discrepancies, potential security issue, and/or area of concern which may have a negative impact on the department/property.
- Maintain constant awareness of safety and accident prevention.
- Ensure all equipment and work areas are kept stocked, clean, neat, and in working order.
- Inventory/order supplies as needed.
- Answer telephone using proper etiquette.
- Provide overview of hotel and facilities to all guests.
- Proficiency with KYC program.
- Proficiency in knowledge of all room types, room positions, current rates, and all facilities and services within the hotel.
- Effectively communicate all discrepancies, special requests, etc. to relief personnel.
- File all paperwork within established guideline.
- Ability to show different room types and meeting rooms with extensive knowledge of each venue.
- Possess thorough knowledge of immediate area and assist guest with requests when needed.
- Proficient knowledge of Safety and Security procedures.
- Keeps supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters of significance.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Attends work as scheduled.
- Follows hotel’s dress and grooming standards.
- Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
- At all times, projects a favorable image of Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel to the public.
