What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) position at Luxcare Pharmacy?
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers, identifying and fulfilling their needs both behind the pharmacy and in the front end.
- Data entry, such as inputting prescriptions, medical and billing information. As well as Prior Authorizations, verifying prescriptions, contacting doctors offices and patients.
- Maintain uncompromising level of cleanliness both in and out of the pharmacy.
- Placing and Receiving drug orders as well as organizing and putting away drugs.
- Works with the Pharmacist to provide exceptional patient care and promote well being.
- Adhere to federal and state laws and regulations in regards to HIPPA, FWA, as well as other various laws and regulations.
- Must be a positive and friendly individual who shows care and passion even in times of stress.
- Be able to multitask to ensure that timelines and standards are met.
