Duties

• Assist customers in selecting products by providing detailed information, including product effects, usage methods, and dosage recommendations.
• Conduct engaging product demos to educate customers about new or featured items.
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, appealing products.
• Upsell relevant products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and recording inventory movements.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to proper phone etiquette.
• Support store operations through cashiering duties, basic retail math calculations, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Assist in product demos and educate customers on product features to promote informed purchasing decisions.
• Supervise or mentor new team members when needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment involving customer interaction.
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage bilingual customers effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to build rapport with diverse clientele.
• Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management.
• Experience in upselling and product demonstrations to enhance sales performance.
• Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and transaction processing.
