Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times
• Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service, complying with all alcohol regulations
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages promptly to keep the bar fully equipped during busy hours
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery in various settings

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations gracefully
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing procedures
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling practices, and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Experience in catering, banquet service, or retail environments is highly desirable to adapt quickly to different service contexts
