Caregivers

- Position Overview: Seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to join a 6-bed residential care home team. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality care, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and treating residents with dignity and respect.  

- Key Responsibilities: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility; provide medication support or train for Med Tech certification; prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding; perform light housekeeping; monitor and document behavior, health changes, and daily activities; offer companionship; follow individualized care plans; communicate effectively with team members; ensure safety protocols are followed.  

- Qualifications: No prior caregiving experience required—hands-on training provided (preferably in RCFE or similar setting); opportunity to gain memory care experience; strong understanding of care, safety, and hygiene standards; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; excellent communication and teamwork skills; dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented; CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain; Med Tech certification a plus or willingness to train.  

- Preferred Qualities: Proactive in cooking, cleaning, and household operations; strong observational skills to report changes in condition; positive attitude and genuine passion for caregiving; ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.
