Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading, and working on various construction sites. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, utilizing a range of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. The Plumber will also interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repair work, contributing to the successful completion of projects with safety and precision.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction, remodeling, and renovation projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing layouts accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools to complete installations
- Perform heavy lifting of pipes and materials safely on construction sites
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC technicians to ensure seamless project execution
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes at all times during project work
- Assist in remodeling projects by integrating plumbing systems with structural modifications
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use
Skills
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, including pipe threading and welding techniques
- Strong knowledge of construction site procedures, schematics, and blueprint reading
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, HVAC integration, and general building infrastructure
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and assembly tasks
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret schematics for complex plumbing layouts
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning
- Experience with remodeling projects and maintenance person tasks is a plus
- Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites is essential
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience in commercial driving is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on precision and quality workmanship
Pay: $ $31.40 per hour
