Overview
We’re looking for a driven, take-charge customer service professional who thrives in responsibility-heavy roles and isn’t afraid of the hot seat. This is not a clock-in, clock-out position. You’ll be the lead on flooring projects from start to finish, owning every step from quote to order to final invoice. This role is ideal for someone with strong will, natural initiative, and the confidence to ask questions, challenge processes, and make decisions. You must be highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable being the point person accountable for results. Success requires flexibility and a willingness to work hard when production demands it.
What You’ll Own
- Lead and manage flooring projects from initial quote through ordering, delivery, and final invoicing
- Take full responsibility for incoming orders and all flooring needs across assigned accounts
- Plan, coordinate, and track product shipments to meet jobsite and customer requirements
- Prepare accurate, detailed invoices for the accounting team
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with confidence and professionalism
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors to keep projects moving on time
- Read, interpret, and edit floor plans as needed
- Actively support jobsite production, stepping in wherever needed to keep projects on track
