The mechanic works independently while collaborating with both maintenance and production teams to uphold safety, quality, and efficiency standards using a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on manufacturing machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on mixed equipment types
- Set up and run wire process equipment for maintenance or troubleshooting
- Execute Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security program requirements
- Follow scheduled Planned Maintenance (PM) activities and adjust priorities as directed
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance entries in the MRP system using custom software tools
- Assess processes for cost-effective reliability and drive continuous improvements
- Enforce processing and quality standards during all maintenance tasks
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years industrial maintenance, production, or related experience
- Technical AS Degree or Certificate in manufacturing or technical trade
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Planned Maintenance (PM) systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in manufacturing equipment setup and operations
