Job Overview

Luv's Café is seeking energetic, friendly, and reliable Front of House Team Members to help create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest. As a counter-service café, our front-of-house team is the heart of the operation. You'll be the first point of contact, guiding guests from order to pickup with genuine hospitality and attention to detail.

This is a paid position offering the opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive, family-owned hospitality environment.

About Us

We're a husband-and-wife team who started with a seasonal barbecue restaurant in Beach Haven, NJ, and are excited to be opening Luv's Café, a year-round neighborhood café in West Creek, NJ.

Responsibilities

As a Front of House Team Member, you will:

• Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression
• Take accurate orders and enter them into the POS system
• Answer menu questions and offer thoughtful recommendations
• Package and manage take-out and phone orders efficiently
• Prepare bagels by toasting and spreading cream cheese and toppings consistently and accurately
• Prepare coffee and espresso-based drinks, following café recipes and quality standards
• Run food, bus tables, and maintain a clean, organized café
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

Qualifications

• 16 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Friendly, positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
• Previous café, restaurant, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

Expected hours: 18.0 – 36.0 per week
