  • Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and owner/GC correspondence with accuracy and urgency with the assistance of a project coordinator.

  • Identify and price change order opportunities with the assistance of our estimating team; negotiate and execute approved changes with clients.

Stakeholder & Team Communication

  • Serve as the single point of contact for clients, GCs, and ownership groups throughout the project.
  • Attend regular project status meetings and provide clear, concise written reports and updates as required.
  • Collaborate with estimating, engineering/drafting, shop production, and installation leadership to resolve issues quickly.
  • Mentor and support junior project coordinators and field supervisors as needed.

Quality & Risk Management

  • Ensure all millwork meets project specifications, applicable codes, and the company's quality standards.
  • Conduct or coordinate site surveys, punch list walks, and final acceptance inspections.
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect schedule and margin.
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes at post project review meetings.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial millwork, architectural woodwork, or a closely related specialty trade.
  • Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects ranging from $250K to $1M .

  • Solid understanding of millwork materials, fabrication methods, and AWI quality standards.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to ownership and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
