- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, including compounding non-sterile medications.
- Manage medication intake processes, verifying prescriptions against medical records and ensuring proper documentation.
- Support patient service initiatives by providing accurate medication information and responding to patient inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
- Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with pharmacy protocols, ensuring compliance with safety standards for critical care and acute care settings.
- Maintain precise inventory records of pharmaceuticals, monitor expiration dates, and facilitate timely stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless medication administration and optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven pharmacy technician experience, preferably retail or compounding pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology,
