Supply Chain Specialists at Lutron participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality consumer products and services for commercial and residential use.
There are a variety of concepts throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as:
- Global supply chain design, management, and optimization for raw materials and finished goods
- Capacity planning and global process improvement (Enterprise Resource Planning)
- Demand forecasting and optimization of inventory/warehouse utilization (Material Requirements Planning)
- Risk management and mitigation strategies
- Statistical analysis to support data-driven decision making
- Supplier relationship/quality management and product cost analysis
- Ownership of supply chains for new product introduction or existing product delivery, including materials procurement and manufacturing logistics
- Frequent interfacing with Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales to develop business plans and forecasts
- Multi-disciplinary collaboration including, but not limited to, supply chain design reviews, facility transfer management, global master production schedule reviews, and delivery performance analysis.
- Coordination with global manufacturing facilities and provide logistics support for high-volume production
We seek talented, success-minded people with the desire and ability to make things happen. Our baseline requirements are simple:
- You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or equivalent
- You have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
- 0-3 years' experience in a related field
- You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for any Project Supply Chain Specialist-related positions.
