Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams developing innovative electromechanical products.
- Drive new product development from concept through production.
- Align mechanical, electrical, embedded, and manufacturing teams around project goals.
- Provide technical and project leadership for complex development initiatives.
- Coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent.
- Foster collaboration across Lutron's teams, disciplines, and locations.
- Contribute hands-on technical expertise when needed.
- Drive resolution of complex technical and business challenges.
- Champion quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Support organizational growth through talent and process development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned
- Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in people management
- Minimum 3 years' experience leading cross-functional projects and managing engineering teams
- Proven experience in product design and development
- Ability to travel up 10%
- You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
