Responsibilities
- Teach the Craft: Provide practical coaching by working closely with engineering teams and product managers throughout every stage of the product lifecycle, offering hands-on guidance and fostering learning during project work.
- Build Durable Capability: Capture and codify best practices into playbooks, methodology and short courses.
- Mentor at Scale: Establish apprenticeship models and partner with project teams to guide through doing.
- Elevate Problem Solving: Facilitate critical thinking on ambiguous, high-impact problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent degree
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned
- 25 years of experience designing, developing and shipping physical products with experience driving multi-disciplinary problem solving
- A critical thinker & communicator with a structured approach to problem solving
- A pragmatic quality & producibility mindset with the ability to translate into teachable practices
- A continuous learner with desire to keep current on technical trends relevant to their field
- A mentor and thought leader for junior and mid-career engineers through coaching, teaching, and hands-on technical guidance
