Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global warehousing strategy aligned to supply chain objectives.
- Establish standard metrics across warehousing, set goals, and drive performance monthly to those goals.
- Establish global standards for warehouse operations and compliance.
- Lead and mentor warehouse managers; run cadence-based performance reviews.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and fulfillment performance across the network.
- Partner with Director of Logistics to manage 3PL SLAs, KPIs.
- Partner with Delivery Team leadership to optimize what sku’s are fulfilled from which locations to optimize service levels.
- Lead change management of SAP best practices at Lutron warehouses.
- Manage global warehousing budget and capital expenditures.
- Assess and mitigate operational risks; maintain contingency plans.
- Promote Lean/6σ principles and continuous improvement culture.
- Safety: TRIR/TIR, audit performance.
- Quality: Inventory accuracy %, shipment accuracy %.
- Delivery: Fill Rate, dock-to-stock lead time, Order-to-Ship lead time.
- Cost: Cost per order/line, labor productivity.
- Compliance: Cycle count coverage, export/trade compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree or APICS/CSCP/CLTD a plus.
- 5–10 years of leadership experience managing multi‑site and global warehousing or distribution operations.
- Demonstrated leadership of end-to-end order fulfillment models spanning high-velocity direct-to-consumer pick, pack, and ship operations and large-scale business-to-business skid and trailer shipments.
- Experience implementing WMS/EWM (SAP preferred) and automation technologies.
- Proven Lean/6σ toolkit; data-driven decision making; financial acumen.
- Cross-cultural leadership and change management skills.
- Willingness to travel globally (~15%).
