About the Role:
As a Plumbing Technician at Luton’s, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. Our philosophy is simple, provide honest assessments, quality repairs, and excellent service to every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogged drains, and water heater malfunctions.
- Install plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances (e.g., sinks, toilets, water heaters).
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system performance.
- Communicate with customers to explain issues, repairs, and maintenance in straightforward, honest terms.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, respecting the customer’s home or business.
- Complete detailed work orders, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and local plumbing codes.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or trade school training is a plus).
- 1-2 years of plumbing experience (we’re willing to train the right candidate).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Commitment to doing the right thing and delivering exceptional customer service.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in crawl spaces, basements, and outdoor environments.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Compensation:
- Pay Rate: $20/hr-$35hr (based on experience).
- No Commission Sales: We don’t believe in upselling, your focus is on providing honest, quality work.
