Essential Functions:
Provide client monitoring and linkage to appropriate services both within LSSI and other community agencies.
Perform all tasks as required in the written service plan.
Transport clients as needed.
Meet productivity requirements as established by the program director or designee.
Communicate with supervisor, work group and collateral agencies regarding children's and /or family's status.
Position Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED with AA degree (2yrs) preferred. No experience required.
Basics of child development and parenting, or equivalent life experience and to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, comprehensible manner.
Capacity to understand, and empathize with the cultural, psychological, and practical needs of the clients that the agency serves.
Record of compliance with the law and clearance on the Illinois CANTS.
Valid Illinois driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance and access to transportation to make home visits, and transport clients.
Salary : $16 - $18
