LSSI is hiring a full-timeCounselor Case Manager for the Elgin Residential Rehabilitation Program. Provide whole-person services to clients participating in the Elgin Residential Rehabilitation Program, including 1:1 sessions, case management assistance, and the presentation of evidence-based group programming. Assist clients in achieving their stated goals and objectives, collaborating with other internal and external treatment professionals.
Shifts:
- Days: Monday - Friday OR Tuesday - Saturday
- Hrs: 8am - 4pm OR 10am - 6pM (flexible)

Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with Elgin Residential Rehabilitation team members, other LSSI programs, and external partners in order to provide quality, whole-person care and services to Elgin Residential Rehabilitation clients.
- Maintain a caseload of 5-8 clients.
- Present weekly groups, founded in evidence-based practices.
- Provide weekly 1:1 counseling to each client on assigned caseload.
- Provide case management services, including appropriate linkages and referrals.
- Provide support coverage to Elgin Healthy Start Recovery Home clients, as needed.
- Complete all required EHR documentation in a timely manner.
- Meet productivity requirements identified by LSSI.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards of treatment, including NASW Code of Ethics.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, and other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associates, Bachelors or Master's degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in substance use field is preferred.
- CADC or must obtain CADC within 18 months of hire.
- Annual TB test is required.
- Familiarity with accreditation and licensure standards.
- Proficiency in EHR documentation and review.
- Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Valid Illinois Driver's license.
