What will I do as the Director of Supportive Services with Lutheran Social Services?
- Lead implementation of a housing-focused supportive services model across all programs.
- Provide strategic oversight of housing functions.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, housing-focused case management.
- Maintain program structures (HOPWA, RHO, etc.) for compliance while standardizing service delivery.
- Establish clear performance expectations and metrics across teams.
- Lead regular case reviews focused on movement to housing.
- Monitor staff productivity, documentation quality, and outcomes.
- Supervise Housing Manager, Grant Programs Manager, and Supportive Services Manager.
- Ensure strong onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development.
- Coordinate closely with shelter operations, LSS Health Center, and external partners to ensure integrated multidisciplinary service delivery.
- Oversee tracking and analysis of housing placements, length of stay, housing retention , program utilization and use data to drive decision-making and system improvements.
- Participate in agency leadership and planning.
- Position programs for future funding through strong outcomes and clear structure.
- Identify opportunities to expand housing and supportive services capacity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in a social service or housing-related setting required
- Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, housing instability, behavioral health conditions, substance use disorders, justice involvement, and HIV/AIDS preferred
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience required
- Experience managing housing programs, supportive services, and grant-funded programs required.
