RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide supervision and support for youth in shelter care and reception center. A qualified applicant will provide direct client care, maintain/model appropriate boundaries, and teach applicable coping and problem-solving skills. Complete reports and documentation as necessary.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a High School Diploma, or GED.
• Experience working with youth, is preferred.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral or social sciences (preferred), OR 
  • At least 60 semester credits and one year of experience working with children; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Be at least 21 years old and willing to complete agency background checks.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license or obtain one with approved driver status.
• Must successfully complete all required agency background checks, including checks for criminal convictions involving behavior harmful toward children, spousal abuse, and drug or sex crimes.
