HOURS: Full-time, 30 hour week, Monday- Friday.

SALARY: $20.00 - $22.00. Dependent on experience and qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES: The LSS Better Together Program pairs volunteers with older adults aged 60 to foster community connections and build trusting relationships. This role will act as the primary coordinator for the program. Key responsibilities include develop and implement volunteer and older adult recruitment strategies; organize and lead orientation and ongoing training for program volunteers and older adults; supervise and support matches and serve as a positive resource and reliable presence for volunteers and older adults. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, plus one to two years' experience in related human service field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous or current volunteer management or older adult programming is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational and event planning. 
  • Public speaking and excellent communication skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office required. 
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency auto insurance requirements. 
  • Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Must be at least 18 years of age.
