Partner - Staff Development & Education (RN)

Lutheran Home is excited to offer an opportunity for an RN to join our team as the Staff Development & Education Nurse! The Staff Development & Education Nurse will assist with the leadership and direction of the nursing department with a focus on the onboarding on new staff and the ongoing education of all staff. This role will also serve as a liaison with our clinical schools and will lead our in-house CNA training program. Interested candidate should be motivated, passionate about staff education and dedicated to our mission and “4 C’s.”

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Provide nursing care within RN scope.
• Create, implement and update staff education plans (onboarding, monthly educations, etc)
• Manage CNA training program and serve as class instructor

Hours for the position are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. 

Requirements for the position:

• Registered Nurse (RN) preferred licensed in the state of Wisconsin
• Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with peers
• 3-years of experience in a senior care setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records
