What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director of Nursing (Skilled Nursing Facility) position at Lutheran Living Services?
Lutheran Home is excited to offer the opportunity for an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team! The ADON will assist and support the DON with the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure our residents are receiving quality care and excellent customer service. Additionally, the ADON will provide support and direction to nurses and nursing assistants. Interested candidates should be motivated and goal-oriented leaders dedicated to our mission and "4 C's."
Hours for the position are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Essential Functions of the Job Include:
- Provide leadership and support to the nursing and interdisciplinary team as it relates to delivery of care
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing team; provide supervision to the nursing staff
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team to establish and achieve goals
- Maintain standards of practice that meet state and federal regulations
- Lead efforts for quality measurement and improvement
Requirements for the position:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Wisconsin
- Prior experience working as a nurse with the senior population preferred; 1 - 2 years leadership experience required
- Ability to develop and nurture professional and educational relationships with staff members
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with resident/patient charting systems

Salary : $96,500 - $105,000
