Position Summary:
- Instructs and assists with curriculum delivery activities to include individual client sessions and group sessions. Ensures a client-centered philosophy while utilizing client voice and choice. Coordinates education and training activities to be delivered to clients of the Fatherhood Initiative Program. Ensures curriculum model fidelity, evaluation, and best practices for the curriculum provided.
Job Duties:
- Support clients in a variety of community settings, including client homes, prisons, and jails.
- Initiates and conducts training for Fatherhood Program participants per curriculum model fidelity.
- Provide participant intake and assessment per specific curriculum guidelines.
- Ability to deliver curriculum to audiences of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Ability to comfortably deliver training activities to clients in the community, office, and in correctional settings.
- Work with clients to enhance client group participation and peer to peer activities.
- Maintain compliance of PHI and PHI as required by all governing bodies.
- Develops and plans to improve overall program, corrects identified deficiencies, and enhances programs and services.
- Maintains registration, attendance, and pre/post assessment data and records in respective data management system.
- Participate in curricula updates and incorporate into delivery to participants.
- Maintain a positive relationship and collaborate with other non-profits, medical providers, employment agencies, domestic violence programs, and other community agencies/organizations.
- Conduct outreach meetings and networking to gain referrals and participants.
- In collaboration with the Project Director, provide data for reports to funding sources as needed and grant reporting requirements.
- Track program and training outcome statistics related to training and education.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to pass all necessary background checks and obtain clearance to work in jails and/or prisons to meet with clients.
- Knowledge of family relationships/systems, child welfare, and criminal justice.
- Ability to complete required training and certifications in order to implement updated curriculum.
- Ability to work independently to plan and coordinate training classes and curricula.
- Knowledge of program development and building relationships in the service community
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, education, public health, criminal justice, or related field is required.
- Previous experience in providing training and education.
- Previous experience working with diverse populations.
- Valid Nebraska driver's license, proof of liability insurance and ability to drive for agency business.
Physical Requirements:
- Hybrid work environment (in office and remote).
- Laptop and company issued cell phone.
- Occasional travel to meet program needs and conduct community classes.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including occasional evenings to meet clients’ needs.
