HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

 All LCSNW team members will contribute to our mission of partnering with individuals, families and communities for health, justice and hope. The Human Resources Business Partner supports organizational effectiveness by partnering with leaders and employees to foster a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace. Through consultation, employee relations support, investigations, and workforce practices, this role helps leaders address people-related challenges and create work environments that support high-quality services for individuals, families, and communities.

  • Partner with leaders and employees to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and workplace concerns.  
  • Conduct workplace investigations and employee relations reviews, ensuring fair, timely, and compliant resolution of concerns.  
  • Coach supervisors and managers in effective employee management practices, communication, accountability, and conflict resolution.  
  • Support workforce planning, organizational changes, employee engagement initiatives, and employee lifecycle activities within assigned service areas.  
  • Identify workplace trends, risks, and employee concerns and recommend practical solutions that support team effectiveness and organizational goals.  
  • Collaborate with HR and operational leaders to implement policies, procedures, training, and programs that promote compliance and a positive employee experience.  
  • Partner with Senior HR Business Partners and HR leadership on complex employee relations, labor relations, and organizational issues requiring advanced consultation. 

HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; substantial relevant experience may be substituted for education.  
  • Minimum four years of progressively responsible human resources experience, including employee relations, manager support, policy interpretation, performance management, and workplace problem solving.  
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, human resources practices, and employee relations principles, with the ability to apply them effectively in day-to-day situations.  
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct investigations, manage employee relations concerns, and provide consultation to supervisors and managers.  
  • Strong interpersonal, consultation, conflict-resolution, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all organizational levels.  
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, leaders, community partners, and external stakeholders.  Intermediate proficiency with business applications, productivity software, HR information systems, and virtual collaboration tools.  
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and resilience when handling confidential and sensitive information.  
  • Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment and demonstrates commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations.  
  • Successfully completes tasks in a moderately noisy environment.  
  • Interacts with others and performs work in person and through technology, with extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and computer use.  
  • Moves equipment and materials weighing up to 25 pounds.  
  • Travels between worksites regularly.  
  • Works in a variety of settings, including LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, and faith-based settings such as churches.  
  • Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances required by the state, funder, contract, or program.
